I'm Ronán, a freelance stage designer based in Dublin.
I am a 2023 graduate of the MfA Stage Design from the Lir Academy. I also previously hold a degree in Product Design & Technology from the University of Limerick.
A Monaghan native, I have always had a keen interest in drama and was heavily involved in amateur drama since my teens. In 2022, I left my job as an engineer to return to education and pursue a career in theatre. Having completed these studies I am now working full time as a freelance Set Designer.
As well as the productions detailed, I have assisted on numerous shows, including Fledermaus (Irish National Opera), Somewhere Out There You (Abbey Theatre), Palimpsest (Coisceim) & Tarry Flynn (Livin Dred).
